I am. We had our lunch at Sonya’s Garden as a post-Valentine’s treat from DH. We were supposed to eat there last Valentine’s but the traffic was terribly heavy, we decided to move it to another date. We were free today so off we went to Silang. I have been eating quite a lot lately, I am afraid I might gain back all the pounds that I lost. But I won’t let it happen. I have slimquick extreme to the rescue. A good friend of mine swears by it so I know this one’s good.

I love these framed artworks. I love how the homeowner displayed her kids’ artworks. I have been wanting to display my son’s works and I have always been on the lookout for creative ways to do it. I like this one as she made it look like an actual piece of art that can be placed anywhere around the house. I just need to find similar white, simple frames. I will be looking for barcode scanner tomorrow when I go to the mall. I might as well look for frames, as well.

I love looking at those super clean and organized homes. How I wish I can keep our little home as clean and as organized. Right now our house is a mess. I still have a few more stuff lying around that I need to get rid of. But this organizing task has to wait, at least for today, as I am helping my cousin look for a reliable travel emergency assistance for their upcoming trip. I have read good feedbacks on Goodsameaplus.com so we’d probably settle with this one.

The husband surprised us with a short getaway last Valentine’s. Good thing he did that as I would not really consider it since no one’s going to look after the house while we are away. But it was just a short trip so I guess it’s ok to leave the house once in a while. So this summer, the husband planned another short vacation for the family. I am getting used to these short trips, I am actually thinking of having a longer family vacation for us. How I wish we can go to Azul Beach Hotel in Riviera Maya. It is a perfect destination for families. Parents are offered various indulgences and they will never have to worry about the needs of their kids like cribs, strollers and the likes. They even have a Kids’ Activity Center that the whole family will enjoy. I really want my family to experience this one day.

His most loved books on his blue shelf. He loves anything from Richard Scarry, the Arthur series from Marc Brown, Sesame Street books, Max & Ruby books, Berenstain Bears series and lately, he is starting to collect Little Critter books.

Our weekend is going to be busy. We need to create a page for my son to be displayed on their school’s bulletin board. The little boy can’t wait to get his hands on the materials though. The theme is about future inventors, explorers and discovers. However, I am not sure if the one we are going to make suits the theme. DS chose the project, something he saw in one of his books, so I have to make it work. Anyway, I’ll just let him do some of the works on the page like coloring, pasting and decorating. Although the box cutter I got from martorusa.com seem safe, I think handling of anything sharp will be my job. I’m sure this is going to be one messy, but of course fun, activity for us.
