Saving Tips.

I like to read articles about saving. Times are hard and I think setting aside funds for savings should be our first priority upon receiving our pay check. That is what pay yourself first means. Truth be told though, I am not able to stick regularly with my saving plan. Sad, but the money were properly used and not spent on senseless shopping.

Anyway, I have come across another way to invest our money on. Do you know that you can buy gold bullion, and even other precious metals and coins, as a form of investment? They said that gold is the best way there is to preserve one’s wealth, gold being more stable than any other paper currency. Add to that the fact that gold indeed gets more valuable as time passes. I am liking a certain shade of green these days. We will be repainting the bedroom in green. And I am planning to have the outside of the house repainted, as well. We have several small projects for the house this summer. Now, if only I can get hold of N who helps us with these stuff. In the meantime, I will be focusing on looking for jobs online for a relative who recently graduated. Good thing there’s http://www.beyond.com/, job hunting has never been this easy.

Rain Gutter Bookshelves.

I am loving these rain gutter bookshelves. My son loves books so these are perfect additions to his playroom. He can easily see the books at once. There will be less mess since he never has to search through all the books. I am seeing tons of playroom ideas from the internet. How I wish I have enough budget to copy them. However, playroom is not my priority right now as I am saving for a bedroom makeover, getting some heated mattress pads included.

Don’t you just love this bedroom and playroom? I love, love this room. I love the blue accent wall. And of course, I love the tons of photos posted on the walls. Maybe a digital frame will be a nice addition to the room, too. I can’t wait to have a similar room for my son. But it seems that he still wants to co-sleep, so for now I’ll just be content fixing his playroom. It is slowly looking like a playroom, but I still have a few items that I want to dispose.

Playrooms.

I love these playrooms. We are in the process of fixing our extra room into my son’s toy room/my hobby room/my gym. It is still a bit cluttered with the many functions it has to serve so I am thinking of getting rid of some more stuff. But that has to wait as we are still in the process of fixing a few things in the kitchen. I am wishing to have a granite tile countertop. But that probably has to wait.
