FurnitureWithAHistory.com Review.

Even with just its domain name, FurnitureWithAHistory.com is a website that intrigues and interests you. FurnitureWithAHistory.com is the website of Barnwood, an online store of wooden furniture. The home page has an old, rustic, and homey appeal which can be attributed to the warm brown and white color theme and the images that are flashed on the screen.

You can find a good selection of furniture at FurnitureWithAHistory.com. The site offers dining and kitchen furniture, living and family room furniture, bedroom furniture, and home office furniture. But what makes FurnitureWithAHistory.com different from other online furniture stores is that they use reclaimed timber for most of their furniture. For other furniture not made from reclaimed timber, plantation grown timber is used. These reflect the environmental responsibility that Barnwood has taken on.

It is very easy to find different types of furniture with the use of the categories listed on the header. Product listings include medium-sized, clear images of the products. A closer look at any of the products shows a short description of the furniture and its dimensions. The best part of each product page is how it shows the color options available to you. Instead of just listing the colors, small images are included for you to see what each color looks like.

It is very enjoyable to browse through FurnitureWithAHistory.com seeing the different furniture and wondering where each of its parts came from. Purchasing furniture from this site means getting one whose parts came from various sources. You only need a little imagination to wonder what story each of those parts has.

Dear hubby and I love to collect wooden furniture, while I prefer the sleek and modern ones, he love the antique looking specifically those distressed furniture. As our dining table is made of mahogany wood, he just could not wait for the time that it looks older than it is now.

Given the opportunity, I would have loved to inherit my late grandmothers’ furniture. Most especially her dark mahogany dining table. It just holds so much memories of when we were kids. I know it’s already aged, and some portions rotten due to floods but I would love to make a reclaimed wood furniture out of it. Too bad I don’t even know where that is anymore.

My aunt who is into wood furniture for her house is now looking for a reclaimed wood furniture for an added collection. She prefers those recycled wood as it is more eco friendly and more elegant in style and design. Will recommend the website that you mentioned here. Thanks

I love the shabby chic feel in a home, I am into that style when it comes to decorating the house and one of the key characteristic of that is the distressed furniture. I love how it adds character and every piece can tell a story.

We need new furniture for the apartment and we hope to go shopping this weekend. I’ve searched online and I think I prefer eco furniture which are not only eco-friendly but also stylish.

I love wooden furniture because I feel it gives character to a home. You know that cozy feeling when you enter a shabby chic house with all those distressed furniture? I love that! Anyone will feel welcomed in that house!

I enjoy looking at great pieces for the home especially wood furniture. We still have a few antique pieces from my grandmother and my mom got some reclaimed wood furniture from her recent trip to the province. I hope that in my future home, I can have these pieces too.

We were in a home furniture store last weekend to buy a new sofa. We also took the opportunity to look for other furniture pieces and we saw a reclaimed wood furniture that would be perfect in the dining room. I just love its eco-friendly style.

My husband is so much in love with wood furniture especially with reclaimed wood furniture because it has a beauty on its own. He actually has plans to refurnish our house in the suburbs so it will be our vacation house so I will definitely keep the site of furniturewithahistory.com in mind. Thanks for sharing.

I love old school looking reclaimed wood furniture specially on hotels and resorts that we visits. In fact, those are my favorite photography subject. It practically tells story by itself, effortless.

Lately, I’ve noticed that many people are trying to be environment conscious and eco-friendly. At home, I’m also dong my little share by separating our wastes and not using much plastics etc.. The eco furniture that are offered by Barnwood are not only great pieces to put in our homes but knowing that they came from various sources make it more appealing.

I love watching the local magazine show on urban living. A lot of nice homes are featured in the show and I noticed one thing…a lot of the home owners used reclaimed wood furniture which is nice to know because they’re also thinking about the environment.

When we attended the wedding of my cousin’s son in the province we came to visit our old house with variety of reclaimed furniture and I began to realize fully how beautiful wood furniture is. We also have some old wood furniture in our house now which was made and designed by my own Dad. I will make an effort to preserve its classic style and beauty not only for the looks but for the memory of my Dad as well.
