Protect Your Hands.

This is a timely post as I will be transferring our newly-bought plants to their new containers.

Gardening is really nice to do, it’s actually therapeutic to some people but too much time in the garden could harm your hands so better use some garden gloves.

1. Washable synthetic gloves: For general maintenance, such as deadheading, weeding in dry soil, and handling seeds. The thin fabric and snug fit allow your fingers maximum dexterity.
2. Latex-coated cotton gloves: For dirty, wet jobs, like picking up leaves or planting shrubs, and for working with thorny plants (the latex coating is puncture-resistant).
3. Heavy-washable leather gloves: For tough jobs, like digging holes, clearing brush, and carrying firewood.
4. Arm protectors: Consider elasticized sleeves if you often prune brambly shrubs.
